Vipul Singh was born in Siwan, Bihar, India, in the year 1979. He received his B. E. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering, in the year 2003 with first division 68.75% marks. He went to Japan to pursue his higher studies and Joined Prof. Kaneto's group. In the year 2005 he graduated with a M. E. degree from Kyushu Institute of Technology, Japan with an overall GPA of (3.81). Soon after his post graduation he again joined Prof. Kaneto's group for his doctoral studies. Since then he has been actively involved in research and development of Organic Electronic Devices. His interest in the area of Organic Electronics ranges from device applications viz. Organic Field Effect Transistors (OFETs), Organic Light Emitting Diodes (OLEDs), Organic Solar Cells (OSCs), Organic Memory Devices to charge carrier transport, photo generated excess carrier dynamics, formation of excitons and their diffusion etc. in these materials. In March 2009 he finished his received his doctoral degree. From April 1st, 2009, he joined Prof. Inokawa's Lab (Nanosystems Integration Laboratory), at Research Institute of Electronics, Shizuoka University, Hamamatsu, Japan, as a Scientific Researcher. He was employed under Knowledge cluster project. At NSIL he studied MOSFET based Single Electron Transistors/Devices. Since then he has also been interested in Bulk/SOI technologies and also studied and reduced the low frequency noise occurring in these devices, mainly owing to the interface traps in these devices which was studied both at room temperature and cryogenic temperatures. From November 22nd, 2010 he joined IIT Indore, as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology, Indore.
